2015 US Open

2015 US Open

The USGA continues its series of posters proclaiming the US Open, in 2015 at Chambers Bay Washington. Chambers Bay is a municipal course and the first course in the Pacific Northwest to host America’s most prestigious tourney. The course was built on the site of a former mine, and over 100,000 truckloads of soil were removed from the site, cleaned, and then returned to form a beautiful links style course on the edge of Puget Sound. A railroad line that carries freight trains and Amtrak’s Cascades between Portland and Vancouver, BC runs between the course and the Sound. This poster is available signed and unsigned, by  noted artist Lee Wybranski.
