Robbins Bros was a famous circus troop that toured the US and Canada. The 1930’s was the heyday of traveling circuses and like most, Robbins Bros moved by train, erecting the bigtop every morning and the moving on to the next stop the next day. This poster heralds the famous menagerie of wild animals that were a mainstay of many circuses. Not all animals took part in the show, but the elephants, lions and tigers did. Most menageries were set up on the midway so people could get an up close, but not that close view of these exotic animals.
